Nikki's books, speaking, and educational resources are built around one belief: that the conversations we avoid are the ones that determine how we live through the hardest seasons of life — and how the people we love will remember them.
After twenty years at the bedside — as a hospice professional, a caregiver, and an author — she has learned that presence is more powerful than protocol, and that the right question at the right moment changes everything.
That is the work. And it is always human.
